Throughout the last year, our business has taken on a form of its own. Since we started making chocolate straight from the bean, we have not been able to produce chocolates, roast coffees, run the cafe, keep everything constantly stocked, and spend adequate time with our kids, friends, and family. Because of the success of our products, we recently decided to close the energy-draining cafe and reshape our business to better suit the demand for our products, the needs of our local community, and to help fulfill our own personal goals.
We will be reopening our doors on October 1st as a Middlebury Chocolates retail shop… the first of several planned around the state! We will be a community oriented shop, not only featuring our own products, but also specialty goods from other local producers and incredible pieces from local artists. We hope to show off the best of Middlebury to visitors, as well as offer a comfortable environment for our local friends and patrons, and provide a prosperous outlet for local producers.

This week, we will be open Mon-Wed from 10am to 4pm, as well as Thursday and Friday from 10am to 6:30pm. We will have gift boxes of our fresh, hand dipped truffles, as well as our house crafted chocolate bars (made straight from the bean!), and amazingly delicious sipping chocolates. If you just can’t decide, don’t worry… we have gift cards!

After many months of hard work, we are proud to announce the official opening of our chocolate shop & dessert lounge! Stop by and say hello at 52 Main Street in Middlebury, Vermont - enjoy some of our fresh hand rolled truffles, amazing gluten free desserts, espresso & french press coffees, and other tasty treats!
